*ScanTexas Tips to dowload and use Appcenter* CE Units *Unzip file* 1 .Copy the AppCenter (shortcut file), AppCenter.cpy, appcenter.exe (from the WCE500 folder), and Plat9090g.reg (from the PlatformReg folder) 2. Paste the files in the Application directory of the device 3. Copy the Appcenter.run in the Application/Startup folder of the device. *delete the two files that are already in the Application/Startup folder 4. Do a cold boot. Pull out battery half way. Hold down the power (red button) and trigger button press in the back in battery will maintaining hold of power and trigger button you will see yellow flash and should perform a cold boot. WM Units *Unzip file* 1. Paste the files copied above in the Application directory of the device 3. Copy AppCetner.run (from the Reset, WM5, Option 2 folder) and paste in the Application/Startup folder of the device *delete the two files that are already in the Application/Startup folder 4. Go to Tools Admin login (default password is symbol) Go to new program. Click on little box with 3 dots to add new file. Search for TelnetCE and double click. You should see then it go back to Appcenter with telnet file there and something in the arguments as well about telnet. You can check the box start up Check the box hid SIP hides the keyboard from users in AppCenter. Then click save. Then in Tools and Options you can change the default password if you want and hide other things from users. Open Tools and click create registry file. This creates a reg file in the application folder of the device called AppCenter.reg *save this reg file to your pc somewhere On the next Guns you can copy all the files from steps above but include the Appcenter.reg you created and do a cold boot and you will not have to mess with AppCenter again.
