Quick Guide install Datawedge v2.02 on a Mortorola Device:


To install DataWedge so that it is launched automatically after a Cold boot (Clean boot on a Windows Mobile 5 device), do the following: 

1. Unzip the DataWedge download package into a temporary folder on the PC. 

2. If installing on a Pocket PC or Windows Mobile 5 device, copy “\Bin\PPC\DataWedge.exe” from the PC to the \Application folder on the device If installing on a Windows CE device, copy “\Bin\WCE\DataWedge.exe” from the PC to the “\Application” folder on the device. 

3. Copy “\Application\DataWedge.cpy” from your PC to the \Application folder on the device.

4. Copy “\Application\Startup\DataWedge.run” from your PC to the “\Application\Startup” folder on the device. 

5. Cold boot the device.

Quick Guide install Datawedge v3.0 on Motorola Device:

1. Download the file from ScanTexas.com

2. Run the Datawedge.msi file on your PC

3. ActiveSync the device to your PC

4. Go to Start on PC and then Programs 

5. Find Datawedge in Programs on PC

6. Click on install Datwedge

7. On the Device install Datwedge to the /Application folder

9. At the bottom right hand corner you should see the Datawedge Icon.
